四百年前曾是臺江內海的一片汪洋，如今成了店家林立、人潮眾多的海安路。作品召喚海的水域記憶，手工打磨綢絲紋的不鏽鋼椅面，猶如內海般圍繞著美麗的大樹，自由奔放的水流意象，呼應海安路的水文歷史，也是臺南四百年時光的集結濃縮，邀請來往的人群停留在這片流水般的意象上，感受美好的過往與現在。

Four centuries ago, this area was part of the vast Taijiang Inland Sea,  yet today Hai’an Road pulsates with vibrant shops and bustling crowds. This artwork channels the essence of the sea through its stainless steel seats, meticulously hand-polished to a silky texture reminiscent of the majestic trees that once adorned the shores of the inland sea. The imagery of the free flowing water, pays homage to the hydrographic legacy of Hai’an Road, encapsulating four centuries of Tainan’s rich history. It invites passersby to linger upon this water-like imagery, offering a moment to bask in the beauty of bygone eras intertwined with the present.

400年前、大きな海が広がっていた台江内海は、今や店が所狭しと立ち並び、買い物客でにぎわう海安路に様変わりしました。これはかつてここが海だったという記憶を呼び覚ます作品です。手で打ち付けて紋をつけたステンレスのイスは、美しい木々に囲まれた内海のようです。自由奔放に流れるような水のイメージは、海安路における水文学の歴史に呼応しており、台南400年のという時間もぎゅっと凝縮させています。水が流れるようなイメージの前で歩みを止めて、美しい過去と現在を感じてみませんか。
