公雞總在破曉時分肩負起報時的角色，牠是農業社會最可靠的品牌，全年無休。當社會轉型，公雞的時序和本能漸漸錯亂，趾高氣昂的形象淪為憑弔晨光的幻影，劃過天際的長鳴成為普照時空的象徵。

Roosters have always played the role of time-keeper in agricultural societies, famously punctual at announcing the dawn. However, with the changing landscape of society, the faithful rooster has become an uncommon sight.
Yet to this day it remains in our memories, an iconic symbol of the dawning of a new day.

昔、時計がない時代、鶏は時間を伝えました。年中休むことなく、毎日、正確に時間を教えてくれました。農業社会のとき、鶏は時間を伝える頼りになる仲間でした。しかし、現代社会、生活スタイルが変わり、鶏が堂々とする立ち姿は見えなくなりました。今回、この作品を通して、朝鳴きの姿は甦り、新しいシンボルになります。
