「划水仙者，眾口齊作鉦鼓聲，人各挟一匕箸，虛作棹船勢，如午日競渡狀。凡洋中危急，不得近岸則為之。」— 郁永河《裨海記遊》
「划水仙」是早期船員向水仙王祈禱的一種方式。此作品鄰近水仙宮與清代的南勢港，即今日的水仙宮市場。〈划水仙-光之渠〉藉由光為媒介，串聯虛實空間，呈現有如於浩瀚無盡的汪洋中划水前行的意象，並以互動形式讓參與者體驗身歷其境的空間經驗。當參與者與裝置互動，風塔外部的燈光將由明轉暗，而內部燈光逐漸亮起的同時，串聯兩座風塔的光帶將呈現如水浪波動的效果, 當(轉動划桿)速度越快，裝置的燈光效果將愈為顯現。 

Hua Shuixian was a ritual held by sailors on the boat when praying to the Shuixian zunwang (God of water). The work is located near Shuixian Gong Temple and the Nan-Shih Port built in the Qing Dynasty (Shuixian Gong Market now). “Hua Shuixian –The Canal of Light” utilizes Light as a medium to connect virtual and real spaces, presenting the image of rowing a boat in a vast expanse of ocean. The work is interactive, allowing for an immersive experience.
When participants interact with the lighting installation, the lighting effects would change correspondingly – The exterior tower light dimmed, and simultaneously, the interior light brightened and dynamically presenting effects like rapidly flowing water. The faster it worked by users, the distinctive lighting effects would be.

この作品は水仙宮と清代の南勢港（現在の水仙宮市場）の近くにあります。作品名〈划水仙〉は光を媒介にして、「虚」と「實」その二つの空間を繋げ、果てしなき海のイメージを表現しています。この作品はインタラクティブな形で展示され、参加者は実際に体験することができます。
